Local man battles state over wetlands... according to the Cheboygan Daily Tribune. Dr. Robert Cyman's property was invaded by Michigan Department of Environmental Quality... and then they declared him guilty of changing wetlands without a license. This 'wetlands' is zoned agricultural but hey! Who's to argue with the mighty DEQ? Where is the judge... the jury... the trial? What kind of rights do property owners really have in Michigan?
'I planted several rainbow trout in the upper pond and 18 rainbow trout in the lower pond,' said Cyman. 'The trout in the upper pond are still alive but the inhabitants of the lower pond no longer exist."
You need to read the article to get full effect but it's yet another example of the type of muscle used by MDEQ. They've already called my backyard and those of my neighbors a 'facility.' They have already exhibited their control over farmland, sand dunes and soccer fields. They are all over Michigan and YOU may be next.
